calzaghe has nothing to prove

if calzaghe did fight dawson he would beat him then everyone on here would just say dawson was not as good as everyone thought. at the end of the day dawsons two big wins are an old tarvar and a close one against johnson. calzaghe has no one else to fight,the americans will never rate him but if joe was american he would be a hero.

the irony of people posting threads with these defensive titles is that i cant think of a 'great' fighter in recent times who has needed ANY defending at this stage of his career like calzaghe has.

Calzaghe, as a fighter, as ALOT more to prove. As a star and a boxing celebrity he's reaching rarified heights - and that seems to be his primary focus, entirely.
