why did Glass Jaw Roy never fight anyone on that list except Calzaghe? Calzaghe is the lightest puncher on that list I am sure that is no coincidence either. :rofl:patsch

I think Jones vs Benn would be the best contest of any of the guys above.

Jones had the ability to make Benn look silly, but Nigel had the power to put Roy into a permanent coma.

Rico - you need to stop ranking fighters according to their respective chins. It was funny but ain't, not any more.

    calzaghe
    jones/benn
    eubank
    collins

eubank and benn were never the same fighters after, respecitvely, watson and mclellan...still, collins beat them....

i do think that jones looked fantastic but against ordinary fighters..other than toney and hopkins...i think the youn calzaghe would have given him fits..really...dunno who wins head to head, but it ainth the foregone conclusion everyone seems to think...

jones is rated very highly for beating ruiz..jeez....yes, it was great to go to hw and get ANY victory, but its not like he beat a lewis or a tyson or a holyfield..he beat the weakest of a bad bunch around at the time....

benn can ko ANYONE ....end of story.....he has the biggest fighters heart out of them all...yet he couldnt ko eubank in two goes....and i dont think calzaghe will ever be knocked out....

i rate benn higher than eubank due to his style, power and overseas exploits..going away to italy to win the title..going to america and beating de witt/barklay...beating mclelland who was, at that time, a hugely favoured wrecking ball.....these acievments alone put him higher than the otehr two....

collins and eubank are close ..similar careers for competition level..but eubank had his benn and watson..colliins never had anyoone like that, and lost against the best names of his time on the way up....but eubank prime beats collins prime 9 times out of 10.....

and perhaps calzaghe prime beats everyone on that list 6 times out of ten...

and im a huge benn fan..but reality can be a cruel mistress...

Calzaghe (just above Benn, very little in it)
    Benn
Eubank/Collins - and I'm SERIOUSLY tempted to put Collins above Eubank

Nah Collins can't go above Eubank

Chris holds wins over Benn and Watson - which eclipse anything that Steve did.

Calzaghe and jones are at the top and by quite a margin - its not close.

the only debate is where Benn, Eubank and Collins rank next to each other...
