Yeah, just watched it again. He impresses me more each time I see him. Hope Joe shows as much class in the run-up.
That is already a fail on Joe's part. You must have missed the thread about what Joe said in his column before leaving for the presser.:-(
Nah, I did see it. Joe (and every other boxer) comes out with the usual **** but I hope JC looks at RJJ and sees how it should really be done. I suppose we gotta realise tho' that they need to get bums on seats and looking like they're in love with each other may not maximise ticket sales. I know people who know JC very well and they've always said that to him, RJJ is 'the man'.
Some things i noticed: 1 - This was one of the most boring press conferences I ever witnessed 2 - The stare-down was funny as hell, I couldn't stop laughing 3 - I'm not sure if Roy is taking the fight as seriously as he should. Come to think of it, the way the two are acting (Roy telling Joe where to look, how to pose???), I'm wondering if they've drawn up a "preliminary gameplan" for themselves in the ring on Nov 8th.
