Seriously you JC haters need to check your facts. Calzaghe only lost that fight because he went into it with a serious neck injury caused by an improperly balanced cranium. The doctor deduced that the improperly balanced cranium was a direct result of excessive dorsal occupying follicular growths.

    Calzaghe stated on a documentury

"My first 15 fights I lost like 5"

and then he Must of Lost Some More after that because this fight was in 1991

He may have lost the fight, but with that hair, it goes without question that he won the event.

  4. He lost 10 fights in his career - one more after this - the headguard was too big and he couldnt see. never lost a fight since.

Calzaghe lost 3x as an amateur 2 were robberies this 10 is utter bs.

Calzaghe the only Brit to win ABA titles at WW, LMW, MW in history also the only man to stop Chris Byrd as an amateur.

I have heard this for ages. Is there actually any proof Calzaghe fought Chris Byrd as an amateur ?

To those of you who've actually fought at an internationnal level, you know that losing a fight in the amateur ranks is common(espacially at that level) even for fighters who have been great champions in the pro's. And don't know if Calzague would have been spanked by a Cuban in the 92 olympics but i can the you that at 165 pounds the cuban Ariel Hernabdez was pretty much unbeatable for almost 4 years from 92 to it would have been a great fight but my monney would've been on the cuban no doubt about it. And Juan Carlos Lemus at 156 ponds wasn't to shaby himself either!!!

    Thank you!!!
