Calzaghes resume is as good as floyds, undefeated and fought a bunch of HOF and atg fighters that's were not in there prime. He was never labeled a cherry picker so I would rank him up one over floyd. They're both somewhere in the 50s

Ward didnt stop Kessler and beating an already beaten fighter doesnt come close.

Whatever Calzaghe is ranked in ATG, Mayweather should be aorund 3-5 places above him.

Their career mirrors each other. Undefeated, shaky resume, and the most fanatic fans who try to squeeze as much number as they can get in the ATG ranking.

They represent the UNDEFEATED "aura" which BTW, their resumes mirror the original one, Rocky Marciano - solid but lots to be desired of.

 

Calzaghe is the most effective boxer in the history of the sport. That is all I have to say on the matter. His style wasn't pretty but he was better equipped to win boxing matches than any fighter before or since.

I accept 99% of people could not possible accept that, so set in their ways.

But it is the truth and as long as I know it, that is all that matters. Couldn't care less what the ignorant world thinks.
