Calzaghe was a good fighter, an ATG at SMW, but his career could have been better if he fought more fighters in their primes.
I think the 'gonna miss him now he's gone' tagline really applies to some fighters. I mean most people loathed Hamed when he was fighting, but now a lot of people miss the sheer entertainment he brought to the sport. When it comes to Calzaghe, though...I personally don't miss him at all. I don't hate him or anything, but I just don't find him particularly interesting. (Until I stumbled across this amusing music video, anyway.)
Calzaghe the coke sniffin, ho chasing, rabbit hunting drunk is all mouth & very little else Slappy claims he "whupped Bernard Hopkins" & "became a legend killer" ROFLMAO If he really believed that why didnt he accept Hopkins offer of a rematch in WALES!!??? Know why?? He knows if he ever met Hopkins again his 0 is GONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopkins won that fight 114-113 & thats being benevolent to Calzaghe
Look, Joe is 46-0 with around 25 title fights. He's held every belt in his division and the belt that means the most in the division above. He pretty much can say whatever the **** he wants.
**** JC and everyone in the UK. No one here gives a **** about the UK. You dont see people coming on here bashing boxers b/c there from Europe. You have to prove yourself here to get the respect fighters crave. Its not our fault. :verysad
