Jones by very comfy 10-2 margin, at best for Joe. Calzaghe, as good as his chin and balance are, would probably taste the canvas once or twice aswel.
No he will NOT. Jones is NOT Lacy, Manfredo, Eubank, Bika, Kessler or noone Joe has fought. Jones in his prime would OWN Calzahge, and Jones now would beat him. Not saying it would be easy for him now at 39, but he would win.
Each to their own, but most people would strongly disagree with you. Jones is way to inactive to beat Calzaghe.
If Jones goes to Whales (if I spelled that right) he would beat Calzahge to everyone else's suprise. Except mine
Cuz a plane ticket don't cost a damned thing. As I point out to you every time you bring this up, Jones Jr stated publicly as did HBO that they made Collins an ACTUAL offer, not just some bravado to get in the papers, and Collins turned it down. So did Benn (but Benn was not the same fighter at the time and his heart was not in it)
Jones is not as good as Kessler is now. Calzaghe would simply outwork him while Jones would be reluctant to throw. Jones Jr now isn't even a 1/3 of what he was. His decline was very gradual, then hastened a great deal by his own stupidity with the weight issue.
You didn't. There's no h in Wales. Also if they fought now Joe brutalize Jones. You obviously have no understanding of how boxing works or are just very biased. Prime 4 prime Calzaghe would probably win 3-4 rounds but could well end up on the canvas. Not only is Jones better but this is a bad style match up as well for Calzaghe. However we must remember that Jones is a suspected drugs cheat. I'm not sure how seriously to take Jones as a fighter because of this.
I seen some ****ing stupid **** on this site but comparing Joe to Vinny Paz is the most stupid thing I've seen.:rofl BTW a prime Jones would Probably win a pretty straight forward UD against a prime calzaghe.
I'll take the Roy who did a similar thing to Toney(a much better fighter) over the Calzaghe that beat Lacy, and quite easily. The styles matchup also easily favors him. Joe would last the Decision though likely.
