See why it's difficult to legitimately discuss the game with a bunch of dolts running around and how that's turned me into a joker half the time?:yep

So you're joking HALF the time? Jesus, that's like 10K posts of jokes. And you're having us believe this thread is among the half where you're serious? Wait, no. It's just that *this* post (above) is also among the half where you're *joking* I get it, I think. :yep

    i would also take Kessler.

put the fight on neutral ground and on hindsight taking into account that Kessler's hand probably affected him more than he will let on, I would give the edge to MK. Alot of experience gained for MK in that loss too.

I would hope so... Seeing Kessler afterwards, I am sure he will have no trouble rebounding from the loss.

    Hindsight doesn't always improve you.

Despite of what I said, I do hope that Kessler would get a rematch against Calzaghe - on danish ground.

His power is not part of any gameplan he has had for years - more beating opponents by accumulation, which works well.

If he had been in decline overall, he would never have beaten Kessler. JCs two best fights have been again Lacy and Kessler, two of which have been his best opponents(given the state of Eubank) - and both fights have been after your 6 years mention.

There's no reason to assume Kessler would come back so much better that he'd win after his shellacking. Good boxer, but he had no plan B, and it showed.
