When there's an advantage for a fighter in just about every significant category this usually means a lopsided win. RJJ at 168 had WAY more Power, faster hands, better foot work, and better defense. Usually when two superstars like this fight the advantages are usually split. Either the slower handed fighter has more power or better defense with less power and speed etc etc, but Jones has an advantage in all these catagories. Even with these advantages for Roy though I think Joe would make it a decent fight because he's definitly no slouch and he has heart but Jones would probably win something like Joe C over Kessler.

How soon we all forget. Lets all get joe's sweaty balls out of our mouths for just a minute and remember how ****ing good Roy Jones actually was back in the day. Why d'ya think Calzaghe never fought Jones? He knew what'd happen.

I say it again, Roy Jones Jnr is just about the closest thing as I've ever seen to truly unbeatable in the sport of boxing. Calzaghe would have difficulty even making it competitive.

I think an 8-4 decision for Jones sounds about right, with a late stoppage a possibilitiy if Calzaghe gets wild and tries to brawl out of desperation. Joe would take some rounds due to work while Roy sat against the ropes, but all in all Roy would dominate in the middle of the ring, and his power would be enough to lower Joe's punch output.

This is the best matchup of today's fighters for a prime Jones at 168, but I don't see how Calzaghe wins. He doesn't hit hard enough to have a realistic chance. Gerald McClellan would have had a better shot.

Jones would destroy Calzaghe in his prime, I see Calzaghe losing by a wide margin. Jones wins by UD.
