This is in no way official, just something I think JC could realistically aim for to ensure he goes out with a bang.

    Fight 1.

At 168lbs V Jermain Taylor, March/April 2009 - very winnable fight and a good name to have on his C.V, also moving back down to SMW to help prepare for...

    Fight 2.

At 160lbs V Kelly Pavlik, July/August 2009 - getting down to the weight will be the biggest challenge, but the chance of becoming a 3 belt holder and ring champ will be quite a lure. Again, a very winnable fight if JC doesn't get old overnight and can make the weight.

    Fight 3.

A step up to cruiserweight V Tomasz Adamek, December 2009 - a big step up in weight, but provided JC wins the previous 3 bouts he will be in with a chance of being a 4 weight belt holder and would hold the Ring belt at 4 weights simultaneously. Adamek would probably be favourite versus a 37 1/2 year old JC, but anything is possible.

    Fight 4.

2 options, provided JC wins the previous 3.

    1) Move up to heavyweight to take on whichever Klit brother is reigning (or possibly Haye for an all British world title fight)

    or

    2) Take a gimme fight for 50 and 0, and retire

Nice to dream isn't it?

HW is about the only step to far, unless he went against Valeuv! then he would win.

Joe wont make 68 for Taylor or Pavlik, they would have to come to 75 or atleast 170.

I could see him making 168 again but 160 just isn't going to happen. And if he does he will not be the same fighter.

Dawson is the only option left for JC right now.

if he does 4 more fights which I doubt it would be... Taylor, Johnson, Dawson, Adamek. Pavlik is staying @160 for Abraham.

He's fighting Traver so it probs won't happen.

I can't believe TS suggested Joe to fight a Klit... you want him to lose that badly? lol..

hell i would even like to see him fight abraham before he moves up in weight to fight anyone. AA may be more of a challenge than a lot of people think. He sits there in that defensive shell and invites people in and when they start throwing too wide he cleans them up (see AA Miranda II). Joe does leave himself open sometimes by throwing wide looping shots.

no way one fight and thats it! i see him possibly if taylor wins a belt and HBO want it both meeting at 168 or catch weight. to be honest not much options for JC, bhop would be great match and i pay to watch it again but not sure its exciting enough for HBO to pay JC/BHOP enough to make it
