Regardless of Calzaghe's training regime, running 6 miles a day is not what gives him the unstoppable will that he has. There are plenty of fighters with great conditioning that will not come forward throwing non-stop combos the way he does. To be a great boxer takes internal intangibles PLUS proper training. You can show me some incredible old school routine Calzaghe does and it will not change the fact that it was more than that which got him to where he is.
Agree. However, his training gives him the physical conditioning base which enables his will and skill to prevail.
