Yes, I never liked Hector when he was fighting but he had a long career and no one ever outclassed him the way he did to Leonard....He had a tough time with Edwin Rosario and latter with Chavez but not outclassed

Ray had not won a fight in almost 10 years. No credit. Ray was a fool to fight anyone after his terrible performance against Norris 6 years before. The Norris fight was such a beating, we still did not know if that fight against Norris diminished Ray's skills. I think it had to have.

Yes I feel Camacho deserves some credit for being the only person to stop a legendary fighter like Leonard no matter how rusty or washed up he was, although he don't in any way deserve the amount of credit Duran did for defeating a prime Leonard. That is much more impressive IMO.

I'm thankful that he put an end to Leonard's comeback plans in such fashion that Leonard wouldn't ever entertain the thought of making another comeback again.

47 year old Camacho actually lost a fight to Saul Duran last week but once again lasted the distance.

We laughed, we made money his fans cried and lost money. How do I know? I watched the audience break out in tears as Hector danced triumphantly

Im a huge Hector, fan i never liked Ray Leonard, but i respect his greatness, both were great in their primes, but Ray was greater and if they would have met at a catchweight,Ray would have mauled him,so no he doesent get much credit for this,he shoud have been able to beat a prime chavez instead of taking a beating,Ray beat better fighters in his prime and Macho lost in to a great fighter in his prime, that wasnt better than the great fighters that Ray beat in his,but it was great to see that politician get beat up.lol

Good but not great win by the Macho Man.

Hector was over his best wieght and was not prime either and was not known as a big puncher. Lokked like he was sitting down on his shots a lot more than earlier in his carrer.

Leonard thought Hector would be a safe choice and got knocked out.

    Good win.
