couldn't agree more with this thread - "Re: Camp Pavlik " is spot on and i'm sure "men magazine" would agree.
Pavlik any way you slice this one. JT isnt stronger than pavlik, and he was jacked last time around, KP is going to be bigger and stronger. JT's only chance is if he comes out and moves like Muhammad Ali x 2.
There is one example of someone doing almost the above against Pavlik, and he still got KTFO! A 36 year old Bronco Mckart is obviously not in the same class with JT, but at the time Bronco was still pretty quick and slick. He gave Pavlik hell for 4 rounds by moving in and out, and cirlcing away from the right. McKart being a southpaw was also holding his left way up to keep from eating the right hand over the top. Pavlik's corner told kelly to take note of this fact, and shoot the lead right to the body. Kelly followed instructions, and ended the fight! Bronco at 36 is not on Taylor's level, but he had never been stopped in over 50 fights. He made one ****ing mistake, and Pavlik closed the show based on that mistake! I honestly believe that Taylor gets KO'ed again no matter what his game plan is coming in, or how diligently he tries to follow it. Boo
Good point... As you know, KP is a hometown guy, and I am a huge supporter. With that said, JT is a lot quicker and has more athleticism than "Superman" McKart, so if there was a game plan for JT to win, I believe this is it. I strongly believe JT won't make any changes to his style, so he loses, again. KP = KO rd.7

Boo, I didn't know that about this fight. I've thought Kelly is real good about picking weaknesses, and keeping a cool head and this example is further proof. I was very impressed after Pav. got off the deck vs. Taylor. Everyone says Taylor did not show the killer instinct to close the show, but I think it had more to do with Pav. defending himself well while hurt. He went back to the corner, apologized to his handlers, then calmly sat and listenend to instructions, came out for round 3 and executed.
