Jacksonville, FL: Former unified lightweight champion Nate Campbell had this to say when informed about recent remarks made about him by Zab Judah: "Let me tell you something flattop, Zab can get it. If he can make 140, he can come get it. But I'm not doing all this calling out business anymore. I'll fight anyone Terry puts in front of me. I called out everyone and their mother at 135, and what did it get me? A cancelled Guzman fight, and a very tough fight with a friggin giant in Ali Funeka. And to top it off, now I hear all these 135 guys are trying to make their fights for all my old titles. Aint none of them wanted those titles when I had them, but now that I'm moving up all the sudden they all want the belts. Too funny. But here's the thing, I'm done with all that calling out stuff. All Zab needs to know is that if he can make 140, then we can do this. Zab says that 140 is his house? Man, 140 is a vacant house. If anything, it's Hatton's house. Zab aint lived there in 5 years or better. So lets save all the yapping for the press conferences, and if he can seriously make 140, then come on with it. Lets do it". Nate Campbell
I've given up on Judah...He's lost me so much money its pathetic...I wish Nate would shut this punk up! Zab is all talk and no bark...He ALWAYS crumble under pressure. I hope Nate can pull out the W...but Zab is no walk in the park. Mind telling me Zab will be to much for him but my heart says Nate. WAR NATE!:yep
Lighten up . . . the fight is not for any belt or title. What chances are you talking about here? :think
Zab is a headcase after the 5th round...If he can keep his composure I'd favor Zab...if he becomes a headcase as he always does..than Nate..zab ko or nate ud!
Wow i cant believe so many people think Zab wins this fight. If this fight gets made i really hope that the odds reflect what ive been hearing on this site. Ill bet a lot of money on campbell.
you know wat i mean another undeserved big payday. da dude has lost allmost all his big fights but keeps getting more chances its time for someone else to get a chance
good luck with that. I'm not a big fan of Zab's, but he moved to a weight class he did not belong in, and he hung in with its best fighters. Albeit neither has looked very convincing lately, I'll go with the guy who has the better skills, speed, and power... Not to mention size and experience against top opposition.
