Can anyone justify breaking 2 fighters based on this?

So because you dont like the answer throw another question out there

This fight was only going one way point taken no point taken/ a clinch stopped too early or too late

Its easy to pick out little things but Hatton simply could not have won that particular fight

Dont forget that Hatton had the benefit of having Vann for a lot of his fights so he was not used to have certain patterns interupted , he shouldve just got on with it instead of acting silly

Cortez was extremely biased towards Mayweather, infact he's the worst top ref of all time imo.
It could be worse though, if it was Dave Parris (the worst ref period) in the UK Mayweather would have been DQ'd by round 6!!

You are Right, ricky was used to fighting, not being bossed by paid-off referees. It must have come to a shock for him.

    Nob head.

    Biased ?

How many fights did Hatton have with Mickey Vann. An unusual amount if memory serves.

He does it time and time again though, Hopkins v Calzaghe (Hopkins was his man), Gamboa v Salido (Gamboa should have been DQ'd in the 12), Lorenzo v Soto (Soto was DQ'd for what?) He deducted a point from Maidana for a loose elbow but not Khan for trying a headbutt? The guys corrupt.

In boxing u get away with what you can.

Sometimes you can do it sometimes not.

Remember Ricky used to talk about "smothering me work"

That means he has leaned on and grabbed on to the point of finding it hard to hit the opponent.

Holding and hitting is not allowed, guys like Hatton and Tszyu and others do it some times they can get away with it sometimes not

Unfortunatly for Ricky its a major part of his game

The Soto DQ is probably the worst decision I've ever seen.

I never got the Khan-Maidana decisions either, it showed he doesn't have an anti UK agenda.
He's either swayed by the crowd, backs the favourite, is just incompetent, or all of the above.

Mills Lane with a zimmer frame would do a better job than that *****.
