Can B-Hop have the stamina/workrate to avoid another Taylor/Calzaghe style "loss"?

Hopkins didn't "lose" he lost, plain a simple. All that acting and he's still given the benefit of the doubt? It's beyond me how people can nuthug or hate someone so much that they can't see through such a bull**** performance. All that play acting and the sneaky headbutts is not worthy of getting a win, **** Bhop. I'm not a Calzaghe fan, but imagine if he had done it, he's already despised, imagine if he had done all the acting. But Hops is an ex-con so he's "sneaky" and "crafty" and he's allowed to win fights like that. The bull**** he pulled against Winky, a smaller fighter, was also "top class".

People are judging this fight as if the only information available was the 3 Pascal fights.

Dawson looked very bad that night, but then again, he may very well have been overconfident and unprepared. At that time he was undefeated and thought he would easily beat Pascal, "winning every round".

Hopkins on the other hand looked quite good against Pascal, but then again he looked bad in his two previous fights (so bad that many were calling for him to hang it up).

The bottom line is that Dawson is a young, very tall stylish boxer with fast hands and wins over Tarver, Adamek, Glen Johnson, and Eric Harding.

And B-Hop is almost 47. Every time B-Hop fights the odds that he "gets old overnight" increase.

Never count out B-Hop, but I think Dawson should win this.

:patsch Christ, even for you that post is a pile of horrible fail.

To be 'outworked' means that your opponent moves, throws and works more than you. It most certainly doesn't automatically mean that your opponent lands more shots than you, lands better shots than you, or does more damage than you. Fighter A can easily outwork fighter B if fighter A throws 150 punches to fighter B's 40 punches - but fighter B can still do the cleaner, better, more effective work if he lands 35 out of the 40 punches, as long as it's at a higher connect percentage than fighter A, and that the punches he was landing were cleaner, harder, and more damaging.

This is like explaining boxing to someone who has never watched the sport before!! :rofl

If you think Taylor did cleaner, better work than Hopkins in either fight, I suggest you take up volleyball, as you don't understand boxing at all.

The question is, has Dawson ever had the workrate to replicate those performances?

Tonight it won't be a "loss"..it'll be a LOSS. Dawson will rise to the occasion and put a real loss on Bernard's record.
