The guy beat Ruslan ffs and only lost to p4p fighter of the decade.

    He is under-rated.

Having said that Brook fans are the same as Froch fans, so deluded with hate & jealousy they will not see their own hypocrisy

"Career pay day against Brook" - why? Because Hearn says so??

    Jeez, such morons

in many peoples eyes he didn't beat ruslan though, If khan fought rod salka you sound like you'll be defending him.

Do you seriously believe an Algeiri fight is better than Bradley or Brook?

Even if he is being underrated, (we will see), Khan still picked a non-puncher over a lot of money and a title fight.

Please. This was only the case when he was picked to fight manny & khan.

Vast majority of saying he lost ONLY claimed it as floyd fans crying to discredit Manny's opponant & now the same is happening since Khan being announced.

No course not and it is a clear duck of Brook. Will not argue that but I don't like how all of a sudden people are trying to make Algieri out as some sort of bum

like I said, I don't doubt khan has ducked Brook for now. My only point is Algieri isn't as bad as people like to make out.

And I don't believe it's a career pay day for khan. Why is that? Because Hearn said so?

The offer is 5 million whether that is US $ or UK pounds I'm not sure.

When would he have got more than that??

nope everyone discredited algeiri when he was picked to fight PAC, it apparently did less than 300k buys on ppv in the USA, which isn't much different to bellew vs cleverly. His only notable "win" is also in the division below.

to compare him to Danny Garcia, he was arguably in the top 10 p4p after he beat mattysse, 2 cherry picks and a long layoff later he's nowhere, and is fighting Peterson soon and there's barely any interest, this is what will happen to khans career if he's not careful.

It's easy to make these sorts of claims in public but in reality we don't know the truth.

Let's not take Hearns word for it. He is the new Frank so take everything he says with a pinch of salt.

but having said that I couldn't care one but what boxers earn, that doesn't interest me in the slightest. Just want to watch fights. Would I have preferred Brook? Absolutely. Will I be tuning to watch Algieri? Defitinly

As a boxing fan I don't care how many PPV's it did or what their purses were. All I'm interested in is the boxing. It's because of **** like this boxers are now ducking each other (Cotto GGG a prime example).

Khan is 28, still got plenty of years left. Every fight cannot be against the very very best. I'd love to see the Brook fight but I'm sure it's going to happen sooner rather than later

As I;ve said before, khan could fight somone off the street with no arms, no legs, and half his skull missing and his fans would still come up with reasons to justify khan fighting that person.

yes but as boxing fan you can see from ppv revenue who is and isn't a big draw, and use it to get a consensus of whether others though it was a good. Take it you were up till 5am watching pac vs algeiri then?

yes khan is 28, his last 7 fights are 2 losses to Peterson and Garcia, 2 **** opponents in Molina and diaz, 1 half decent one in collazo, a good opponent in DA, and back down to algeiri? if you think that's good for his prime then fine - that suggests to me you don't think he's very good. I think he's the 3rd best WW but this is based on what he could do, rather than what he's actually done in the ring in the last 4 years.
