"A TKO can be scored when they go down too. It simply means they beat the count." TFFP

Ok, so I stated that he hasn't knocked anyone out since "Working man", Tyler Hugh's in 1997 (his one of only two ever KO, one of the worst in the game). Personally I think that is partly testament to his lack of power -as you may well know.

But I think there is a more then good possibility of him getting a TKO.

Having said that Jones chin is hardly made of steel nowadays - so anything is possible.

I'm pretty sure he was meaning any type of knockout here. A TKO is still a knockout after all, its a technical knockout.

Nobody would have imagined Glen Johnson knocking a guy out cold. So whilst it is unlikely Joe is going to achieve that, its possible in boxing if the right shot connects. The TKO is much more likely, and the decision slightly more likely again.

    Disagree with both poll options.
Calzaghe isn't feather fisted, and Jones isn't going down.

Only if Calzaghe wears him down until Jones is too tired to stand, but I think a Calzaghe UD is more likely.

By the way I hope Calzaghe wins on UD as I have 200 vCash on him to win after 12 rounds.
Also I ave 500 vCash on Taylor to beat Lacy.

    Yes i think he can.

Will he i would say not but there is a distinct possibility that Jones could be stopped due to accumilation.

He sure can but this fight has a strange feel about it to me.

This could be one of Roys last great stand as a boxer.

He cannot KO anyone. He slaps like a ***** :)

Seriously though, he does not have power. His "punches" are basically slaps, but he is quick.
