I think he beats both Pac and PBF. PBF would be a tough fight because i think Martinez is troubled more by boxers. None the less his speed and physical advantages would get him the close points win.

With Pac its a matter of him being bigger than Pac. He is smaller than Margarito but his speed skills and power would be too much for Pac. I can see him catching Pac with a right hook and i dont think Pac would take them well. He TKOs Pac in the mid to late rounds.

There is a good reason neither PBF or Pac want to fight him even though he has offered to go down in weight for him. Of course Pac did say if he comes in looking like an African homeless child he would fight him though.

Might I suggest curling, golf or maybe even table tennis.

All good sports where you'd be a lot better off :patsch

Bigger , yes . Better ?? Martinez is overrated, imo. I'm not that impressed by the guy. Cotto is a better fighter.

:deal yey i was about to say this^^.... I really dont see anything Cotto could do here to win, hes outmatched in every category.. Even Cottos prime i cant see him winning this.... At best he might make it intresting early and makes this competetive , but i think Martinez takes over in the mid rounds at stops him.... Martinez ko 7

Even a prime Cotto gets stopped, hes got alot of guts but i dont think hes ever been resilent enough to beat an elite middleweight...... Maybe in Cottos prime at best he was Marintez equal pfp... But he never beats a middleweight like Martinez.

On a pound for pound basis I would rank Cotto head and shoulders above Martinez. Head to head, right now, I think Martinez would beat Cotto up pretty bad.

Head and shoulders?? I have to disagree with you there. Many people here say Martinez is overrated, but so far on this thread i think hes being underrated... He has some big wins in the last 2 years(even if he didnt officially get them)... His resume is already right there with Cottos.. Cotto might be more well schooled but Martinez is more athletic gets hit less and seems to be more resilent... Martinez is a late bloomer (he started late) and is just hitting his prime in his 30s.

He is not a late bloomer and neither did he started late.. he just got his chances late in his career and made the best of them. His lost to paul williams by decision did wonders for his career. Thats boxing some boxers that are not backed by a big promotion company will get pushed to the side for a long time.
