I think (and hope) he will put on some good shows over there. But if he can't make fights with Frank Warren, then I'm not sure how he'll navigate the political minefield over in the US.

I get the feeling being a big fish in a small pond suits his style a lot better.

He will do ok, but do you think ODH and Arum will just let him come over and take over? You obviously have no idea how the boxing game works in America if you think otherwise. Eddie is fresh meat for those guys, they will let him have a little play but to take over? No way.

Eddie Hearn has taken a leaf out of what made Dana White
    and Vince McMahon so successful.
Eddie see boxing as a show and entertainment unlike other
American boxing promoters who just rely on people to show
up and watch the fight on Cable or PPV.
    Can Eddie conqueror America ?
I don't know but Eddie will give it a helluva shot !!

Lets not forget the American promoters are doing an abysmal job. They all seem to lack new ideas and motivation to properly promote up and comers.

If Eddie can get HBO to back him firmly, sign up young fighters and promote them properly, the sky is the limit. I give him a good chance.

I think he either does poorly and leaves. Or he takes over as top dog!

He needs the exclusivity with HBO like he does with Sky here to attract the best.He only has 4 dates in 2 years, and they are all for Jacobs. He can't take over with just Jacobs and Miller.
