Hatton is a bit smaller than Canelo so not sure that's a good comparison. Floyd cannot make 140 anymore - the guy is already very lean at 147 and clearly does not retain much water weight. Please don't believe the bull**** fed by Team Mayweather Floyd's punches are crisp and on the money so he can hurt Canelo if Canelo doesn't see the shot coming. He may also be able to hurt him if Canelo is weakened by the weight - especially if that 1.5-2lb results in less lean muscle mass
Yes, Canelo has amazing power in his punches but Floyd's boxing brain is better, I think him being clever and making Canelo miss will throw him of the job and will be prone to anything Floyd wants to do.
I think Canelo respected Trout's power to much so he wasn't throwing how he would have really wanted too... I don't think Floyd hits as hard as Trout so Canelo will be more aggressive with his combination's against Floyd Canelo let Lopez fire away at times cause his power didn't scare him and Dion as Lopez stopped Canelo would piece his ass up with combos up and downstairs......Hard shots too
