You might predict a totally different fight to the 1st one but you cant add speed to Froch :patsch

Goves does seem more intelligent and less insecure to me. Froch seems to need his entourage and trainer etc to boost his confidence whereas Groves doesn't seem to need any kind of support system to be completely self assured. His confidence seems to come from within. Froch didn't look like he handled the mind games well the first time. He struggled to look George in the eye and got wound up way too easily at times. I don't think Froch can beat Groves mentally. He could beat him physically but I wouldn't favour him.

Knowing that Groves can box circles around him, can hurt him and is not intimidated by him could effect Froch in a rematch because I think a lot of Carl's strength comes from confidence. If he was lacking in confidence I don't think he would be nearly as effective.

Froch can't stand people not being afraid of him, he can't stand people pointing out his weaknesses or his defeats all Groves did was say how he could win and point out that Carl had lost and was contradicting himself on certain things. Froch is easy to rattle he can't take criticism. It's the reason why he never gave Ward respect and why he can't stand Groves. He just can't stand when people don't act like he is the greatest he is an arrogant ego driven wanker.

Yeah it's funny how Froch seems so insecure. Usually the guys that get by on their toughness wear it with pride whereas Froch doesn't seem to like having his technical flaws pointed out.

Groves tormented him. Froch was upset at the lack of respect, ermm, it's boxing so trash talking shouldn't come as a surprise.

Funny because all the lack of respect was coming from Froch, wasn't he the one who mad the cringy bad breath joke at George. All Groves did was point out Carl's flaws and say how and why he would win how is that disrespectful? Froch just hates when other fighters have no fear of him or don't bow to him or something. You'd swear he was Hagler the way Froch talks.

I remember Floyd stuttering, gulping and unwilling to make eye contact with Hatton prior to their fight.
Once they were in the ring, Floyd gave him a boxing lesson, and then punched him senseless.
Only a ****in idiot would think that talk and mindgames have any bearing on how a fight will be won or lost.
I don't remember Groves playing any mindgames after the fight, when Froch refused to shake his hand he looked like a child that had just been chastised by his father.

It was probably for the huge cut on Kessler's head.

You're right. Mike Tyson said he got nervous before fights, so I guess he isn't a tough guy either.

Often, it is the big talker who is the insecure one. He knows he has little chance of hurting his opponent in the ring with his fists, so he tries to hurt him beforehand with his words. Haye-Wlad is a good example.

Win, lose or draw, Groves was cheated out of a win in the first fight...........

Groves future was secured the moment the referee stopped the fight.
The referee stole the knock-out from Froch. Groves became a winner in defeat.
Had Froch had the chance to finish his attacki on the escaping Groves, the return would never have been mentioned.
Froch is the one who was cheated.

We cannot say for sure that Froch would have finished Groves had the ref not jumped in, but the tide starting turning a couple of rounds before the stoppage. Earlier in the fight Groves was slipping a lot of Frochs shots and countering, but as the fight went on he looked more and more uncomforatble everytime Froch launched an attack. Instead of slipping and countering, Groves began bending from the waist, and either grabbing Froch or falling into the ropes.
Thats why i questioned the refs reasoning behind the stoppage, as Groves had fallen into the ropes with his head between his knees on several occasions prior to the stoppage.

    Answer me this

Froch is probably the most one dimensional fighter active right now. He can't adapt. He can't change his style. He can't deal with speed and movement.

So how the **** is froch going to win this time around WITHOUT the robbery?
