Inoue has never been bailed out by his power (from what Ive seen). He's always boxed well and gave as well as he took. Donaire 1 was close but Inoue locked it with the late KD...still thought he won even w/o the KD.

Canelo has had many close fights, enough of them that he probably shouldve lost at least one (Lara, GGG1, Cotto, Trout, etc). That's not to say any of those guys are better than Canelo but just that Canelo looked vulnerable specifically against Bivol/Lara/Floyd style multiple times before.

Inoue has never had that problem thus far. Admittedly though he hasnt fought this specific style (again, to my knowledge) but he does everything well including jabbing, cutting off the ring, mixing combinations, defense, etc.

Hard to see Inoue get beaten like Bivol did Canelo. I can however see a competitive 12 rounder where Inoue wins 8-4ish

Canelo vs Cotto was not a close fight

Eh Cotto came on late and Canelo did not have any answers. It was an honest 7-5 fight imho. Way closer than it should have been

Bivol is gooood. Period. That and Camelo had losses at lower weights (Golovkin, Lara in my opinion.)

Inoue was way more dominant and is fighting a less of a fighter compare to Dimitry.

That being said, moving up in weight is always full of questions.

Different style fighter so I don’t think he can replicate Bivol’s performance. He’s going to have to take big risks because Canelo ain’t losing another decision. Beating Canelo convincingly only gets you a close loss on the cards. He’s going to have to dominate to have a chance to beat Cinnamon Hulk.

I don't agree with this at all. I'll have to rewatch it.

I agree with much of this. There's more than just power to Inoue's game. I did see some worrying signs when he took his slick test in his last fight though and there's always the danger when you keep ascending through the divisions that you might have moved up one too far.

In order to win a fight you have to impose your sexual presence and energy upon your opponent and even though Inoue's is somewhat ambiguous it's something he has been very adept at doing so far. But that becomes more difficult as you move up through the divisions especially when you're facing bigger opponents whose sexual presence and energy is equal or greater than yours.

Think of it as like scaling a mountain. The closer to the top you are the more tired you become. Your energy reserves are greater when you're at the base of the mountain not when you're approaching the summit.
