In the khan fight Maidana had a brilliant upper cut would be interesting how he would deploy this against bradley.
I don't think Bradley purposefully headbutts his opponents. However, he is fully aware of his style and how it heavily contributes to his head slamming into the opponent's face, and he makes no attempt to mimimize this problem. He confirmed this for us in his post-fight press conference, saying it's a "streetfight" and that he has to be "reckless". It's a big problem with his fights, and the referees seriously have to clamp down on it. It's not nice on the opponents who are always on the recieving end of it.
It is savage and its happen so much i cant believe no ref has ever stopped the fight! Question is can Khan get round the head?
I'm not sure. Maybe if he fights tall he will minimize the chances of the head going into his face. But at the same time, he may have to endure Bradley's head under his chin pushing his head back. Whatever the case, I'm not looking forward to it. Khan, as we already know, is weak on the inside, and he's gonna have a hard time dealing with a reckless head and scrappy flurries up close. But, as you've mentioned, Khan threw some nice uppercuts against Maidana. So hopefully he'll be working on those, and he could put Bradley in his place, making him think twice before charging in. But Khan needs to be accurate with these. Bradley moves pretty well when he's coming in.
I'm talking about Kotelnik-Maidana. I think Andriy's a much better outfighter than Bradley is. He might not move around a shitload, but a ton of lateral movement isnt a prerequisite for being a boxer. I don't think Tim's good enough or really accomplished enough to smash and grab a fighter like Maidana. Hit-and-Away doesn't work if your punches don't have enough mustard, and honestly tim isn't an accurate hitter. He'd take a lot of maidana's blows. I think it's possible Tim can hit the deck. If Holt can do it.... Tim has a better defence and chin than Khan, but I see his offensive arsenal as not being able to work against Maidana.
