like i said in a previous post, B+ vs. B. j. diaz is better but not exactly a world of difference in class between the two. i'll probably put d. diaz in the same class as katsidis while j. diaz and casa are just above them.
jmm hardcores like to think pac cannot beat juan diaz. they would also think that pac cannot beat casamayor. but they think that jmm will beat dela hoya. i'll give you reasons why pac would beat juan diaz: 1. juan diaz is a come forward fighter and his style is much suited for pac than jmm. juan diaz actually has the style advantage against jmm because he is a swarmer thats why jmm had some trouble in the early part of the fight. jmm is just in a different class. 2. juan diaz is not that a hard puncher. yes he punches in bunches but those punches would find it hard to land especially with this current version of pacman. these puches would not gain pac's respect. 3. juan diaz is terribly overrated in this board. yes even after the defeats against campbell and jmm, juan diaz is still paraded as an elite fighter when we have seen the difference between a good fighter and an elite when he fought jmm.
Yes he can. I think he'd have as much trouble as JMM, but in the end he'd KO Diaz. Its laughable how some people think a "stiff jab" is what's gonna trouble Pac. Desperately citing the 1st Morales fight as though Pac today was the same as the Pac at that time. Not to mention that, as good as Diaz is with the jab, Morales was simply BETTER at it. So no I'm sorry that's not enough proof for you people. Don't mention JMM here either, as he NEVER troubled Pac with the jab. In their last 2 fights, JMM mainly troubled him with his counter-punching skills and his lead punches. If you guys wanna talk styles, then let's talk styles. But please don't make **** up just to suit your argument. Diaz will greatly trouble Pac, and while his jab will trouble Pac, it won't be the main reason why nor will Pac ever "freeze" from it. It will mostly be Diazs aggression and punch output that will trouble Pac, no doubt. Although in the end, I see Pac KOing Juan Diaz. For Pac lacks the counter-punching skills of Marquez, he makes up for it with more power, faster speed and a BETTER CHIN. You can't seriously be thinking that the power punches that Pac will hit Juan Diaz with won't affect Juan, are you? Pac KO's Juan around the 8th or 9th, maybe even earlier due to Pac's power having more sting than Marquez'.

Yes, don't analyze anything Finito says because it just might make him look stupid. He offered no insight on to why Valero was better, but I'd be willing to bet it's because Valero sounds more Spanish than Pacquiao, and thus, by boxing definition = better.
