you're right, you're absolutely right, i have seen fighters get wayyyyyyyyyyyy more hurt and come back and win the fight or even stop the opponent, but it was the ref's decision, albeit maybe a shitty one, thats why there was a rematch, and say what you want, Mayorga won a majority decision, and although Forrest is light-years better than Mayorga in terms of boxing skill, Mayorga did have him backing up to the ropes on quite a few occasions in the fight, so maybe he won it because the judges thought he brought the fight

Khan was BRUTALLY KOed in one round against a journeyman, Hopkins was fresh out of jail and dropped a decision in his first fight, he probably would've rematched the man, who knows, thats actually an interesting subject though, i wonder what Hopkins has to say about that :think

I'm ok with wins and losses. I wasn't ok with the decision by the ref to stop the first fight at that time, that's all. Bottom line is he wanted, and got the rematch.

As far as Khan, if someone kicked your ass in the street, are you going to let him live with ****ing you up, or would you want a second crack at the guy? Khan is content with that ****.

well i agree with you that the fight didn't need to be stopped at that moment

and i think that Khan really should rematch him, HBO could show clips of Prescott knocking him out, and i think the fight could really sell, i mean, they sold the McCloscky fight didn't they?????
idk, its Khan though, and as a boxing fan, i'll always bring that loss up when talking about Khan, even though i'm a big fan :good

Until Khan's standing over a sprawling Prescott on the canvas, that fight is always gonna be an albatross around his neck.

Lewis suffered some bad losses but always went on to avenge them, which is why he gets the respect he does now.

    Can't see Prescott beating Mclosky

Overhyped and fought Khan at the perfect time

Has since been exposed by poor fighters

However, if he wins then yeah give him a shot against Khan. That would sell huge and be an easy nights work for Khan

Or give him a re-match against Kevin Mitchell, if he loses put him in with John Murray

Prescott is not world class, and I think Paul has enough to beat him

Mccloskey UD. If Prescott pulls it off then why not. Khan-Prescott II in December as his last fight at 140 lbs.

McCloskey should beat Prescott fairly easily. McCloskey is a lot better than some people give him credit for. After all, he gave Khan a better fight than Judah did
