Yeah like vs Griffin when he was getting beat then cameback and dropped Griffin before getting dq'd he really folded there. Or the first Tarver fight that he had to rally late to win. Or when he got dropped vs del Valle and folded and lost that fight.

He never needed s plan B until he started to decline. Genius post by you once again. Truely showing his great this forum is.

He didn't beat Tarver the first time around, that was a **** decision. Go hug Roid's nuts some more, dummy.

And its funny you say he lost that fight but how come his glass jaw never even got rocked or stunned? If he lost in your opinion then he had to have got hit a lot and his chin is so **** yet he was never even hurt. Love the logic.

Roy Jones I am sure could help almost any fighter, even an experienced one.

Telling a fighter what he needs to know in the corner; working gameplanning; keeping a fighter as relaxed as possible leading up to a fight. Almost mentoring from an older fighter or a younger one.

Would anyone question is Peyton Manning could help Tim Tebow or Andrew Luck if they had stayed 2nd string under him? or if he had gone 2nd string at some point to them?

I don't remember my score but I gave Jones only a handful of rounds. And as for being stunned, he spent nearly the entire fight on ***** Street against the ropes. He wasn't KOed because he caught most of the punches on the gloves while Tarver was shoeshining.

Which is it? He was on ***** street the entire fight(which you still gave him a handful of rounds hmmm) or he caught most of the punches?

Do you think he was covering up on the ropes in an attempt to rope-a-dope? The first punches that would land on him in any given round would hurt him, then he'd retreat, cover up, and do **** all else. The few rounds I gave him were the ones when Tarver decided to take a break and Jones would potshot a bit. I haven't contradicted myself once and you are a cretinous fool, so you might as well stop trying to catch me slipping.

Roy Jones Jr still in the game getting his glass jaw cracked but still > Calzaghe.

Joe Calzaghe, hears about Hopkins II, Froch, Dawson, Ward, Pascal, Tarver, Cloud, Pavlik, Matthew Macklin , Bute and runs off to sniff coke and dance on a BBC tv show.
    ---------------------------------------------------------
We are Boxing fans, not fanboys.

Fanboys applaud Joe calzaghe's Dancing on TV, but Boxing fans would rather have seen Calzaghe legitimise his LHW reign by taking on one of the above (except for Macklin)

Sure he can, you can hear how knowledgable Jones is when he calls fights...he is very seldom wrong, is never biased, and dude knows his ****....i think he can make him better because they have similar attributes....honestly all holt needs to do is be in better fight shape and shore up his punching technique and defense...he has a good base for even a beginner trainer like Jones to work with

I like Holt as a fighter, but man he frustrates me. If only he would be more willing to let his hands go...
