He is 37 going on 38, do you believe he still can become an ATG? Or too late.

Probably too late, especially given how unproven most of the guys in his division are.

A victory over Floyd would probably be the only way.

He definitely a top 30 154-160 already. I mean, could he climb? Why not:think

Yes he can as long as he stays healthy, and he is already close to being one now. If he gets the fights he wants a Canelo/Cotto he will win and then can fight one of the top middleweights if one emerges, like GGG.

He is the easily the best middleweight champion since Hopkins and his defenses have been much more impressive at this point. Hopkins lost to the two best mw's he fought. You will not see Sexy doing that.

He can be an ATG Middleweight, but that's not where his focus is.

His career is over and he hasn't had anything at 160 to classify him as great, nothing at 154 either.

A win over Floyd and he becomes an ATG so yes he definitely could become one. Its a pity today's fighters don't push themselves like they use to. Imagine if Duran, Hearns and Leonard never came up to challenge Hagler.

Mayweather gone through 5 weight classes as a legitimate world champion. Martinez has gone through 2, if Martinez wants to make himself an atg why not move up and fight a prime Andre ward in his 3rd weightclass. I tell you right now beating Andre ward at 168 is a lot better than beating a past prime floyd at 160.

Yes. Beating Geale/Golo and a couple more solid defenses and he is an ATG at middleweight based on his resume and his defying of the odds alone.

Needs to beat people like Floyd, Pac and Cotto.

Good fighter but sadly the biggest fights may elude him.

Martinez was a legit world champ at 154? I know he was ducked there, but look:

    1. won vacant interim belt vs Bunema
    2. defended interim title with a draw against Cintron. Got robbed, but made it a terrible fight, lost most of the rounds after the "KO" backpedaling
    3. got promoted to full champ, but moved up immediately, with 0 defenses of the full belt
