all i'll say is he has his toughest fight coming up against dirrell. not b/c dirrell is some world beater, but b/c of their styles. i can see this being a very ugly affair. dirrell will have a big height and reach advantage and i'm sure he'll do all he can to stay out of aa's range. arthur can invite dirrell in all he wants w/ that shell defense, but dirrell won't bite....he's gonna have to go get him. not saying he can't, but i see this being not very pleasing to the eye.
Unlikely that it will look anything like a Winky fight, other than the fact that both guys utilise a very passive turtle shell.
I was never a fan of this guy but when he KO'd Taylor he got my respect. Right now he is my pick to win the Super 6 him or Froch. I really like Arthurs consistency, Undefeated and a seasoned veteran champ at 160 where he had a number of defenses. The guy can dominate you. He can come from behind and stop you. He seems to dictate the ring with this knowledge. The guy seems extremely hard to hit and very powerful. However some guys have had success Miranda, Gevor, and Taylor early on were able to box him pretty well. With his shell he seems like he can easily be outboxed so the fast Dirrel maybe able to out move him and just try to out throw him and get the points win. However I believe Abraham's experience will get him the win. I dont like the wide punching It just seems incredibility easy to counter but hey it has worked the whole time. I'm not a big fan of the guy but he brings excitement to the tournament so I hope he sticks around for the final 4
Yes. Have you? If not, here's your chance: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jh5YanKljE0&feature=related[/ame] Starting at around 6:00 you will see that he does not want to fight anymore. Understandably. I'm not making a big deal out of it, but the Urban Legend seems to be that AA practically defied everybody's pleas and chose to heroically fight with a broken jaw when in fact he was more or less pushed to do it by his handlers. Yes. Watch the provided link. No he didn't. Miranda was nearing the end of his stamina though. No. Sure. Yes. Watch the Oral fight. Ahaha. Sure. Like Wegner said in the Taylor fight: "Calm down Arthur, don't take him out until the last minute, we need the workout." You're a peach! The old Kessler would've been his cryptonite. Not the sloppy Kessler of the last two fights though. And B-Hop can still make SMW, he fought Winky and Pavlik at 170. I don't think that fight will ever happen, but if it would, B-Hop would win 120-108 in the most boring fight ever.
First off Booradley or Hermit, let me say this...you aren't fooling anyone. AA is undefeated, and to say he did not want to fight on his half right since he had a broken jaw. Nobody wants to fight with a broken jaw, but a champion needs to be told that if he does not fight on, he loses his title. So whether you say AA was pushed or not, he was told to fight on or lose his title-so AA fought on, and for you to being up this weaselistic outlook is ***** lol... AA stopped Oral, AA made 10 title defense at MW and called out your hero PAvlik who is still fighting bums and sww's. Stop it because everyone respects AA even if they don't like his so-called crude skills...
miranda seemed to feel bad for arthur after breaking his jaw with an illegal blow, he didn't seem to want to just go out there and fukk it up even more the guy has had plenty of close fights too, he's way overrated, all he has is defense and power, no skills, he throws arm punches, but that just shows how heavy his arms are, and his technique suffers from it he's gonna get owned
Read what I wrote. He said no when he hought he would win the fight when it get's sopped. He wanted coninue when he was tiold he would lost. Very understandably. He was more defensive sure. But this is not running. He exchanged with Miranda and attacked him in every round. That's why he stumbled around and nearly went down after a punch from Abraham in he 10th. :good Nice argument. Fact. He was surprised that Oral landed so much but that's not beeing staggered. That's what Miranda was in the 10h of their first fight. No, they said he should go rounds and that they tried to go the full 12 in some of his fights in the interviews after he fight. Gardner and Shannon Taylor if I remember right. No, he would not win 120-108. Abraham would rounds simply because he lands as much but harder. B-Hop hasn't the workrate to win by these scores. Prime B-Hop would ouclass him though. I would have picked Kessler over Abraham 2 years ago. I'm not so sure now.
Yeah, that's why he fouled him afterwards continuely and punched him on the broken jaw :rofl :rofl I got it now. You are the class clown on here.
stop crying bodhi(stupid ass name, what are you arab?) you dumb ******, this guy is about to get exposed
Here's the thing about close fights, the turtle shell will lend itself to close fights because AS mentioned, it doesn't push for a fighter to be aggressive. It's up to the fighter to determine when to pump up the volume. All of Abraham's "close fights" are due to his defensive style...but it's worth pointing out that in the majority of those close fights, he finishes his guy before it even reaches the cards. That's a bad ass.
