He lost fights he should not have lost regardless of his age or why he was boxing. If anyone else lost in the same circumstances you'd dock him for it. For some reason that is beyond my understanding Robinson gets a free pass. Saying he was the undisputed champion is misleading. It is not as if he had to chase down 3 or 4 champions like it takes today to become the undisputed champion. This is nothing to do with his abilities.
He fought a 175 or so fights. There are bound to be imperfections, off-nights or questionable decisions. It's not like these douchnozzles today who hand pick every opponent, fight harder before the fight than actually in the ring over minutiae so trivial and laughably irrelevant just so they can claim some imagined victory or better yet avoid their best possible opposition/.. Good lord, he is a different breed entirely than the **** that passes for boxing today.
