No, you're wrong.......we're talking about a small Heavyweight who's main asset was speed. His power came from the speed of his punches.

Tyson is on the other side of 40, and he's a small Heavyweight.....at this point in his career even if he was mentally at the top of his game, he would'nt make a real dent on the Heavyweight division even in its poor state.

Its as much physical as it is mental for any old fighter.

Sure Tyson wouldn't be AS fast, but if he was motivated, trained like he once did he'd still have some fire, guaranteed. The man is gifted, sure he'd be slower and not as vicious but who the hell out there in the heavies is. lol

You said it yourself, slower and not as vicious.
Do you honestly think Tyson is going to use guile, savy, and craftiness to outbox most of these bigger Heavyweights?:patsch

Those big, dumb, slow as **** heavyweights with no skill?
When Tyson faced Lennox, he was about 40% of what he once was. He wasn't motivated, fat and didn't give a ****. Tyson could be MUCH better than that and let's be serious, he wouldn't be fighting anyone with those kind of skills.

I was laughing at people who thought Tyson was relevant 10 years ago. To think that he is relevant, or even stands a chance in hell at relevance...NOW? Are you shitting me?

Tyson hasn't been motivated since he lost his belt. It's all about Motivation people -- mind over matter.

*sigh* some people think that Tyson's decline was all about metal focus when, simply, his particular style of fighting was bound to wear out much sooner than others. Sadly, he lacked the discipline to adjust and adapt to his changing skill-set.

He's lost the speed, co-ordination and capacity to pull the trigger effectively. He's shot.
