Can we straight up say Usyk is the 2nd greatest Cruiserweight?

I'm not sure I agree with that. Foster is in most people's top 5. In the survey on here from two tears ago, he finished 7 at LHW. I'm not sure he could have leapfrogged any of those ahead of him, even if he avoided Ali and Frazier.

    1) The limit is not going to be pushed down.
    2) Evander turned pro some six years younger than Usyk did. All of Evander's cruiser bouts were at an age younger than Usyk turned pro.

A separate question from the discussion of his HW career.

That sound a little vitriolic, especially as a hypothetical.
At any rate, it's not relevant to the thread topic, Usyk's CW career.

Gassiev, breidies, huck and glowacki are better than qawi. Stop your nostalgia view. Huck is 100% an hof, as is breidis, it will just take some time.

At heavy he beat twice aj (who will be hof as also fury), who still is a great fighter imo. If he beats fury who is a nightmare for everyone in history, then no one can dispute usyk credentials.

Then Mr usyk will have at least 4 hof in their prime!!! On his resume

It's not nostalgia. Holyfield and Qawi fought in the cruiserweight division when it was 190. Holyfield was an all-time great cruiserweight and heavyweight champion. Qawi was an all-time great light heavyweight and cruiserweight. Holyfield-Qawi I is arguably the greatest cruiserweight title fight in history ... an all-action 15-rounder.

None of those guys who Usyk fought at cruiserweight would have even won a belt if they hadn't moved the cruiserweight division up to 200 pounds. None of them would've won anything at heavyweight.

Your "Hall of Famer" Huck even tried to win a WBA "Regular" belt at heavyweight and failed. Huck couldn't even win a cruiserweight belt when they first moved the division up 10 pounds. He fought 192 pound Steve Cunningham for Steve's IBF belt and ... even with a weight advantage of nearly 10 pounds, Huck got knocked out.

Now, Gassiev is winning Panasian Parliament belts. Briedis called out Jake Paul and got a Paul tattoo, lost to Opetai and now he's fighting Justin Huni. That's where that group has topped out so far. I don't expect Glowacki is going to become heavyweight champion, either.

They couldn't win belts at light heavy. They couldn't even compete at cruiserweight if it was 190. And they couldn't win heavyweight belts.

The WBC is going to move the cruiserweight belt back to 190. Sulaiman already discussed it with his WBC Cruiserweight champion, who said he could make the weight.

When that happens, that 200-pound era will be viewed with a large asterisk* ... made up of a collection of guys afraid to compete with the big boys, like Briedis - who spent the first six years of his career at heavyweight and then moved down and got a Jake Paul Tattoo on his thigh.

Can you imagine being in Rahway State Prison, like Qawi was, and having a Jake Paul Tattoo on your thigh? Good Lord.

Holyfield is the #1 Cruiserweight all-time. He beat a Hall of Famer to win his cruiserweight title. And he beat five Hall of Fame heavyweights (soon to be six, with the inclusion of Moorer).

Usyk is a fine #2, given how David Haye crapped the bed at the end of his career, losing twice to Bellew.

The rest, just throw them in a bowl and draw names.
