Before anyone jumps down my throat, I can't validate anything here, I just saw the article. I don't know Kevin Davis, or how reliable he is but this is what the "article" says.

    "By Kevin Davis

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez have received praise and doubts over his performance against Austin 'No Doubt' Trout to the point that many has him a huge underdog because in that fight he seemed to fade down the stretch. When I asked him about it here is what the Junior Middleweight champion had to say.

"It's very important for me to stay active because in my last fight against Trout, I took a little break in my training and it cost me, the last couple of rounds were very difficult for me." Knowing that he can't go into a world championship fight like that again especially again the pound for pound champion in Floyd Mayweather. He will be working with a strength and conditioning coach in Mexico and in Big bear to get him prepared for this match up. to prove to the masses that night was just a mistake in judgement."

Not much news to those of us who have watched the fight a few times. He was gased no doubt!

Yeah, I thought he was gassed also, but may here claimed it was only due to him taking rounds off because of the open scoring.

I can see that too. Open scoring can ruin a fight. But Alvarez would have gone for a better ending if he had the energy to do it.

Good that he admits and gets help cause he's going to need it against Mayweather, I still had Canelo winning the 11th round big against Trout so I don't think it's that bad.

He's at Big Bear now for the altitude training, let's see how it pays off. He was at Summit last year, but it sounds like he had a break, which kinda misses the point of altitude training.

    No surprise there.

Honestly, I don't think one TC is enough to fix that. He'll be in better shape, but I don't think he'll have to conditioning he'd need to wear down Floyd by any stretch. Were he a cardio monster, I'd like his chances a lot better.

As it stands, I got Floyd by 9-3ish decision.

Canelo looks like a gypsy traveller. I think Canelo is a gypsy traveller. I bet a traveller knocked up some Mexican bird. Andre Ward is a traveller, we know his fathers back ground.

Not sure if this was serious or facetious, but it was hilarious either way.
