Canelo V Angulo should be a good fight, Angulo is a natural JMW and despite being stopped in 2 of his last big fights (Kirkland, Lara) he dropped both of them

Still its a ***** move by Alvarez targeting someone who was stopped in his last fight due to an injury like Angulo suffered, I bet you Alvarez' game plan is to target that eye and build some fake confidence in Alvarez beating Angulo then go straight after the vacant WBC belt . . . .or the WBC champion if there is one by then

Sergey Rabchenko (WBC #1) vs (WBC #3) Miguel Cotto?

The quality of Alvarez' opposition has been really good for a quite a while. Angulo isn' that huge a threat but a decent fight nonetheless.

Yeahhh.... Doesnt that sound really familiar ?

Everyone said the same thing about Lara . " Perro is tailor made for Lara "

Fight night came around , Lara went through hell and back and struggled . No one expected Angulo to even be competitive , everyone just assumed its going to be another easy night for Lara . WE WERE ALL PROVEN WRONG .

Canelo low workrate and Angulo nonstop agression should make this an intriguing matchup .

    Its very likely .

Everyone is seriously underestimating Perro . Even with his shocking performance in the Lara fight, it seems everyone here is choosing to ignore what happen in that fight .

Angulo is just as physically strong as Canelo but a lot more agressive .

Come may 8th , Canelo will be tested .

If Angulo is truly a BUM , then you must think Lara is a Bum as well .

If thats the case , than Lara should not have struggled with Perro .

Erisandy was in the fight of his life .

Jesus... even if he was a tough fight - since when did someone deserve massive respect for taking on top 10s in their weight

this will be canelos third top ten 154 lber EVER... and hes a former champion - hes a joke and i hope angulo knocks him out & exposes him for what he is

TS is smoking some junk! Perro is the perfect target for Canelo. Another picked opponent for the kid.

    Fight Lara, stop ducking!

Are you serious? He just stepped up a year ago. He's considered a top guy at 154, but yet his time there has been spent fighting WW's. These haven't even been top tier WW's either. All the top guys at 154 are fighting each other. The reality of it is we don't know how good he really is.

I agree w you. El Perro came into the ring at 172 vs Lara and threw 70 punches a round against Lara who is twice as nifty and has twice the power canelo does. Some fighters will do things for money though. That's all I'm gonna say.

Never gonna fight Lara. They called Lara vs vanes a draw to avoid this fight. That fight wasn't even close.

angulo is a much more diffuicult fight than molina as carlos would get robbed as he wont hurt canelo with his 20 percent ko ratio and angulo, if he has anything left, has a chance to ko canelo.

of course kirkland, rosado and lara are all better opponents but everyone that undersatnds boxing knows that those fight are not going to happen

You say Angulo is just a target for Canelo .

So he should just fight Lara instead .

When not too long ago , Lara was getting his ass kicked by Perro and was knockdown 2x , which no man has ever done to Lara . That night he proved to the world that he was a formidable opponent .

So please tell me how taking on Angulo doesnt deserve respect ?
