Canelo shouldn't be expected to go to cruiserweight, that's a huge step up in weight that even he couldn't surpass beyond getting the biggest cherrypick with all the A side manipulations like rehydration clauses, catchweights and giving short notice for the fight so there isn't an adequate training camp.

He is already significantly disadvantaged at LHW which I think would be a step too far for someone his size. Carrying all that extra weight on his 5'7 frame, he will be a sitting duck. Just picture a slower Canelo in against a lower ranked guy like Callum Johnson or Joe Smith Jr.

There are cruisers out there he can beat, but I’d rather see him fight Beterbiev :)

Fight Breidis at a catchweight, maybe 185lb, not 200lb.

Just watch the video Canelo vs Frank Sanchez. Alvarez looks tiny and weak. Sanchez was trying hard not to KO his ginger ass with a jab.

32 extra pounds from SMW to CW. Although he fought at LHW CW is asking alot for his small stature. Even his PEDs wouldn't help him much.

So let me get this straight

Loma (5’7) didn’t beat 5’8 Lopez at LW “because he’s too small”

But 5’8 Canelo can KO 6’1 Breidis at CW ( atop five cruiser of all time)

And Loma is still better than Canelo?

    I don’t understand your opinions.
