I am not sure. Jacobs fights the right fight and can drop in the right hand. Who knows. I lean toward Canelo, but it is very close.
Nobody beats Jacobs easily especially someone like Canelo. Just because he barely beat GG and some tomato can at 168 doesnt mean he beats Jacobs.
I think Canelo's ring generalship will be a big difference. Jacobs is a great fighter but he seems more reactive than controlling. I think Canelo controls the distance and the fight. Either guy winning would be great in my books, but as others have said, as long as the result is FAIR.
Canelo is a disproportionate seller and draw, therefore, he gets the benefit of the doubt more than any other fighter in the sport. Just the way it is
