Canelo can move up

    Maybe, but I think Canelo has thin skin and will cut once he faces an opponent like Lara who has a strong and well thrown jab.
    I like Mayweather but the way he fights he is not motivated to hurt his opponents. So, although he can accurately hit with the jab, he doesn't use it like Holmes, Lewis, Ali, or SRL where it causes facial tearing.
    if Canelo ever faces such an opponent I think his face will cut easily, like Vitali's.

    Alvarez can move up to 160 and fight Golovkin, but not in Texas and no Laurence Cole.........

    He came into the ring at 174, he has to move up.

    Tell me you saw what version of Angulo was stood there in front of him. Literally STOOD THERE and took a beating. Canelo didn't have to try hard to find him.

    A fighter with superior footwork and power will be a much tougher proposition.

    I'm sure he'd move up to fight the Martinez-Cotto winner. If Cotto wins, it's a near-certainty.

    He'd have to move up a lot more to fight Chavez Jr because there's no way he's making 160lbs ever again.
