    Totally agree with you. I think a belt makes an opponent more attractive though. Would've Crawford bothered with Horn if it wasn't for the belt?

    No he wouldnt but the poster above was trying to discredit charlos performance against trout . So I'm applying the same logic that he was applying

    OP you are confusing footwork with foot speed largely. Some of it is foot work but when Canelo really struggled at 147-154 it was largely to fighters who were much fleeter of foot than he, but cutting off the ring -- that IS a component of footwork. Canelo generally does better against come forward fighters as opposed to fighters who fight off the back foot.
