i really have no clue what floyd is going to do. i dont like catchweights but u cnt argue with canelo or cotto at 150 . sense team pac dont wanna fight may 5th. i heard so many names as potenital opponents.

cotto- pacs leftovers. i dont think floyd will fight him just pac kicked his ass . he fought JMM cuz JMM made pac look bad n he knew he could dominate JMM to make it look like wow if pac and may fought may would kick his ass because pac went life n death JMM N may didnt break a sweat while woopin him.

maidana- i heard his name being thrown around. hes not even gunna get passed alexander that fight is in st louis so maidana needs to knock him out or we will know wut will happen.

bradley- this would be a good one. but he mite go the other route . the pacman route.

canelo- catchweight at 150 and keep the date in mind. may 5th. cince de mayo

people talk about Ortiz trying to prop up the mayweather fight, saying he was a young hungry lion even though he had been defeated. Maybe he was but he still can't throw a ****ing jab and you have no chance of beating floyd without a jab. Canelo has a pretty good jab but his speed is a bit lacking. He needs more experience with skilled 154 lbers, like Mayorga or even lara, angulo, or kirkland.

has nothing to do with what we were arguing....oh i see...proved you wrong so on to name calling...hahaha children these days. ****ing newbie boxing fans that just started watching post dlh vs pac and know only about pac and his opponents. you're a ****ing joke, go learn about the sport's history and come back and lose and argument with some dignity when you have half a clue.

The guy is young and has obviously been carfeully matched to date but I think some of you are over critical of the guy. He still has a lot to learn and isnt the finished article. I feel he will develop into an excellent fighter and sure he will start stepping up his opposition level soon.

As for the FMJ fight, if I was Canelo, I wouldnt take the fight at this stage - Floyd is far too clever and will literally hit him at will after horribly frustrating the younger fighter for a few rounds. Although Alvarez would have some success going to the body.

I suppose it would be good experience and wouldnt really damage his reputation but depends if he wants to keep his undefeated record or not and if he can pick himself up quickly and learn from it...

I would rather he go for someone like Bundrage and add the IBF strap to the WBC - Again could be a dangerous fight for Canelo but he needs to step up or possibly even capture the WBO from Dzinzruk or both. Then cotto early next year before even considering going against Mayweather.

    Are you drunk?

How did you prove me wrong? :huh

Floyd will only fight small fighters. That is why he made Hatton move up and picked Ortiz after he has only 1 fight at 147.

Floyd will probably fight a small guy like Guerrero.

You're absolutely insane if you think Ortiz was smaller than Floyd.

Canelo looked like a joke against Gomez.

That night changed my outlook on Canelo's abilities.

this kid's like 12, he's clueless. he thinks Canelo of today who got wobbled by a blown up superfeatherweight in cotto's brother is better than the version of DLH that just annihilated Mayorga.
