I feel that if you are not biased that the first GGG fight was a clear win for GGG and it was so much a clear win that they managed to give Canelo a draw to save him because they sure could not give him the decision because the backlash would have been crazy.
I feel that the Mayweather bout showed what Canelo was in that he won maybe one round against a boxer that was no longer in his prime and at times was literally coasting vs Canelo.
But if you are a huge draw and put money into peoples pockets they are going to find ways to help you out.

1-) I thought GGG won a close match as well, congrats. What about the second match? What about the fact that GGG I was Canelo’s first match at middleweight?

2-) Mayweather is the most skilled boxer ever, Canelo getting schooled by him before his two best weight classes is no shame

So I ask again, if Canelo is a bum, why is Mayweather praised for beating him at his worst weight class? Why is Crawford praised for beating old Canelo? And why is Golovkin praised for barely beating a freshly-MW Canelo in a close fight and getting his ass kicked in the rematch?

    Always making it about GGG

Clenelo beat GGG 7 years ago, boy, he’s been sliding for some time

Clenelo was better back then when he was coming off that cattle juice

I hate Saul, but he's far far from a bum.

However...was he insanely overrated and always more limited than the media made him out to be? Absolutely.

He's definitely passed his best but the problem with him is that he had zero confidence to fight the best fighters in the last few years. He fought Dimitri and lost bad and then just wanted hand picked guys

There are a lot of asterisks in Canelo’s career. He really should be 0-2 vs GGG (meaning the 3rd fight would’ve never happened if right man got the W in the first 2 fights) and his great run at 168 was mostly smoke and mirrors. That Said,

He at least has the balls to take challenges unlike certain Gypsy bum who took years of convincing to get in the ring with a man half his size.

It is easier to take on challenges when the boxing suits have bribed at least 2 judges every time you fight.

Granted, they did the same thing for Fury and AJ when they fought Usyk, and Usyk won anyways.

A little harsh, but he's always had a stylistic weakness. Styles makes fights that trump's everything even weight divisions to a certain point.
