Canelo ducks nobody and is fighting whoever the fans want him to fight. He'll continue to give great fights, after Lara he might pursue the winner of Cotto-Maravilla. At 23 he already fought the current best fighter in the sport, and while he didnt looked impressive, it was only because he fought against one of the best boxers to ever lace them. I'm pretty confident he'll manage to catch Lara constantly and maybe kO him. Like Mayweather mentioned in an interview earlier... He might be the next superstar hate him or love him. The kid shows guts.
Canelo is very similar to Mayweather, taking all the tough fights. He will be a superstar in the future.
I like the kid and mostly agree with what you say, except he is ducking Martinez. He said so himself that he wanted to fight Sergio and his people convinced him to stay away.

Canelo will be the future of boxing.hope he stays dedicated to the craft.if not then i could see Canelo fall badly before his 30's. Hoping in couple of years Canelo would bring life to MW again.as it stands now,i think GGG would be too much too soon.
I Knew El Perro Angulo wouldnt cause problems for Canelo since Angulo, before the Lara fight, had LOTS of problems against a 21 year old kid whose name is Jorge Silva and he wasn't that skilled, he just didnt had any respect for El Perro.
Ya but I think his promotional team needs to hold him back on this one. The Lara fight doesn't make sense to me.
I think Canelo's fight with PBR will help him against Lara and give him the confidence to beat him. Lara is somewhat slick but not as slick as PBF.
