Yup, we the fans robbed of a really interesting fight. It sounded like the only thing Golovkin's team wasn't willing to negotiate was the weight too. All the other things, money, ring size, walkouts, glove selection, etc., probably could've gone Alvarez's way. It just shows you how certain they are that they can't beat Golovkin.
Betting site bet victor taking the **** out of canyouweighlow This IMO is career suicide He as lost all credibility with his last fight then theses bubble gum pop star antics The in ring after khan fight speech is nearly as bad as hatton on national TV telling the world him and Witter were going to fight for wicky to run to the hills
Well it still could happen. Im hoping that GG comes to the table now that he got what he wanted (the Title) if he realizes that this isnt the way he wanted to get it. (that it would have been better to fight Canelo for it) Now youre making a statement that I have no way of knowing if its true. Youre saying that everything probably could have gone Alvarezs way except for the weight? How do you explain Alvarez saying that he has no problem fighting GG at 160 after the Khan fight? I think youre giving GG too much credit here. The weight may end up being 160, but having that set at the starting point of negotiations favors GG. After all, the WBC has allowed its recent title fights to occur at catchweights below 160, so why now is the WBC all of a sudden requiring it be at 160? If anything, you would think the other titles GG held would be more apt to require it be at 160, not the WBC.
This will define Canelos legacy. Stupid stupid move. If he was going to vacate he should have done it after Cotto instead of talking all that ****.
