Basically everyone here defending Floyd is talking out of their ass since he clearly said he was the one who kept the fight from happening. He's on record admitting that so there's no argument about this anymore

Why in the hell would PBF be scared of a guy who lost to a shot EM and never beat JMM clearly and who he's a stylistic nightmare for?:deal It's nothing but wishful thinking to think otherwise. Pac walked away from the first talks with a 50/50 split because of testing not PBF remember that.:deal Everything that happened after the first talks was a circus, bad blood and egos.

You can make excuses for Floyd all you want, but the facts came straight from his mouth that he wanted to wait and was the one who delayed the fight from happening

How did he delay the first talks when he agreed? It was Pac who walked away because of testing to fight Clottey not PBF dummy.:deal Everything after the first talks was like I said stubborn egos and bad blood. The time was right because this had gone on long enough and they had to put all that stuff aside and make the fight everyone wanted to see and it was too much money to pass up. The fight should have happened in 2010 blame Pac for it not happening back then. BTW PBF beats any verison of Pac and would have beat that verison of Pac easier than he beat the 2015 version. PBF will always be able to control range and dictate distance on Pac and that is the key in this match up.:deal

I like how you can only point to one instance in time and place all the blame on Pacquiao when there was obviously blame to go around. But with that said, what were the excuses for the fight not happening when Pacquiao agreed to the testing? We all know what the excuses were, because Floyd made them. The list is endless - taking 50/50 off the table out of the blue, saying he's taking time off, complaining about his health, saying he won't work with Bob Arum, saying Pac has to join his promotionalal company. This all happened after he said countless times that all Pacquiao had to do was agree to testing.

Floyd said when the fight happened "it happened because of me" -- yeah, he's right. Everybody was waiting on him. He also basically admitted to keeping the fight on hold; there are quotes out there straight rom his mouth. I know your a Floyd groupie, but don't be in denial. Floyd got the win, but he ducked Pacquiao for 4-5 years straight and everybody knows it.

All I know that around 2006 boxing became a joke.
Nobody has the ***** to fight and make the super fights.
People will still watch a rematch if you lose, so losing shouldn't scared boxers. Let's all admit that these dudes just don't want to go to war and are afraid of taking an ass beating.
    Ali vs Frazier Foreman etc
    SRL vs Duran etc
    Tyson vs Holy etc
    Morales vs Pac etc
    Oscar vs Tito etc
    JCC vs Pea etc

We had hungrier fighters back then I guess. You can make serious money fighting bums and has beens now. We should not support these sham fights.

Nobody goes to see a Pac or Floyd fight. People go to be seen and post pics in their social media accounts. Nobody cares about the actual fight. I LOL when Floyd says millions watch him fight. Nah millions go to your fight parties. Same with Pac. Whatever is popular at the time, people will swallow. But 99% of people at a viewing party , bar, etc, don't give a **** bout the fight.

Because of this we will never really see prime fighters fighting again. It sucks. But we can't hate on them. We would probably do the same if we could. Make the same amount of money for an easy fight vs I have to worry about my health fight.

There were no excuses in 2009. Pac refused testing. Floyd was talking about the negotiations AFTER that fiasco, but you guys say, Floyd said it himself. No he didn't. You understood him, but you don't understand him because you thought that he didn't understand it himself when you mofo's truly understand it.:rofl

It didn't hurt boxing. What it did was show the world that nobody at his weight could beat Floyd and that fans aren't shelling out $100 for a ppv fight again UNLESS we definitely know that we are getting a Castillo Corrales type of fight at heavyweight.

Don't forget that time Floyd said the fight couldn't happen in 2012 because he wanted a stadium to be built, was busy recovering from cuts suffered against Marquez, and did not know who represented Pacquiao.
