The fact that Canelo can have a positive test for such a NO-NO drug that
is banned in many countries and then have it excused away as meat contamination
is why I watch very little boxing anymore. This kids whole career has been a sham
from his loss to 1st Lara, his BS draw on 1 card vs mayweather, his obsurd and
outrageous 118-110 card against GGG and now his failed test and amusing excuse
that is actually sustained by the once legit NSAC. I already consider GGG vs Canelo 2
to be a NO-contest and won't be tuning in. The outcome has already been determined
and I'm not a WWE fan.

If you type "clenelo" into Google, it asks you this:

    Did you mean: canelo

He's a juicer and he got caught, great, boxing needs to eliminate cheaters like him, if u need to cheat to compete **** you

Even with his clen he still couldn't win his last fight and had to rely on being the house fighter to get a draw, boxing is corrupt no doubt

It is also very unusual for state athletic commissions to have such autonomy regarding referees, doping tests etc. The governing bodies are not even nearly able to act as "overseers" of the sport, probably because there are 4 of them instead of only 1. Of course, they have no indention to unify because corruption has been infiltrated into their highest levels for many decades, and apparently their presidents have been running the orgs like family business or even some kind of cartels in some cases.

The least WBA/WBC should do is enforce a year-round, random and mandatory testing for each boxer rated in top 15. If all 4 organizations did that, and banned from rankings anyone who defied, boxing would quickly become a much cleaner sport. But of course, they are unable to do that because they are so poorly run, and WBA/WBC/etc probably don't even have anywhere near the required logistics to do that in any country at any time like they do in most other sports. The reason for this, again, is that Sulaiman/Mendoza/etc are running governing bodies like their own family firms, and rely on deals and connections with promoters, athletic commissions etc, as opposed to having an universal governing body, consisting of national federations of all countries across the world and according to international law. That's why WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF on their own can never become something like tennis' ITF.

Eh... both the WBC/WBA have given statements that they believe Clenelo is a clean fighter and cling to the victim of tainted meat narrative. The IBO/IBF will probably follow the same tact.

The only hold out so far is NSAC, but let's be real here. NSAC is the organization that allowed a boxer to dope up on roids his whole career, then did a 180 and accepted a TUE from a corrupt USADA who doesn't have any authority to issue TUEs in the first place.

If anyone is holding their breathe waiting on NSAC, don't bother. There probably isn't a more corrupt organization in Vegas, so the odds of their BS investigation actually doing the right thing is less than zero.

Only idiots believe the meat excuse. Everyone with half a brain knows that Canelo took PEDs. Canelo is not some up and coming fighter... he's a rich as **** fighter with access to everything. He knows exactly what goes into his body and it's not contaminated meat...it's PEDs.

He probably took it throughout his career and didn't expect to get caught. Now he got caught and the WBC, who is the corrupted organization in boxing is rushing to protect their cash cow because they want their fees.

It's really sickening to see what some people can get away with.

I agree, I wouldn't trust NSAC in doing the right thing either. In fact, Bob Bennett's middle name is corruption. :nusenuse:
