Doubtful, Both Curtis and David have proven from their beatings by Golovkin, they are sturdy enough to take any punishment Canelo could throw at them. Both have a decided power advantage over Canelo, in addition to power, Curtis has significantly faster hands and feet than Canelo, David (physical strength). Two guys with that type of power and handspeed are exactly the types of guys I'd wanna keep away from Canelo. He needs to fight slower, plodding MWs or continue to drag smaller guys up. Disclaimer: neither David or Curtis would win on the scorecards
Good post. I agree with almost everything you wrote. Frankly I don't think they would need scorecards vs Canelo. Stevens was putting together some blistering combinations against GGG, who mostly used movement to negate them. If Curtis was on range with those against somebody less mobile (Canelo) it would be an early night ...
Canelo is not going anywhere 160 till golovkins moves out the neighbourhood he's gunna be looking out curtains at 155, then 156, and so on.
