What the hell is the point of having a massive size advantage if your not going to use it? Absolutely pointless fight. Smith came to survive.

Twenty, Smith was a zombie from the first bell. Had zero snap in his shots whatsoever.

A four week challenge is embarrassing of a fighter of Canelos stature.

Let’s see if he gives Andre Ward 16 weeks notice and fights him at 168.

    We can hope....

Saunders is another Gypsy Grifter who gets a reputation for being "slick" when he runs away for 12 rounds. Got people convinced that he's a fighting man when he's a coward is the greatest trick I've seen in boxing.

If he’s a zombie at the weight (something I went on and on about like some woman in the build up btw) then that’s on Callum. He overstayed his welcome in a division he outgrew 2 years ago. He had no right being at 168.

I think he couldn’t even try to. Zero energy from round one. I don’t buy that Canelo was superb in that fight. He didn’t have to be though as Smith was very poor.

You can't be 6'3 and be SMW. He's got belts waiting for him at cruiserweight for him. Lad looked drained but stepped up on 4 weeks notice like a proper fighting man.

BJS is world class, but he’s lazy and has terrible discipline. Thing is, even at his very best he’s not as skilful as Canelo. He might cheat the system but he can’t half box.

This guy would love to suck Canelo’s dick if he got the chance Jesus Christ.

Andrade would get smoked by Matthew Hatton and Fielding. What a sperg.

He's a grifter and you've been sold the lie that he is "slick". Another word for that is slimey and based on the past couple of years he is indefensible.

I judge on the eye test with BJS, he is definitely slick, but his best years are already behind him and he doesn’t have that same fluidity at 168. He peaked a couple of years ago and is just blagging it now though.

The BJS of the Lemuiex fight gives Canelo some problems.

But that was at 160 and he was with Ingle.

Spot on. I’ve been saying for ages and especially since the Ryder fight that he’s looking more sluggish and needs to go up. I was somehow hoping he’d have none of that tonight. I think he’d have had a good chance if he had the speed and energy of a couple of years ago.

I have to disagree with you about how good Canelo was tonight though. He was in with a n exhausted man with very little coming back and no power yet he was still hitting arms most of the night. Some Beauties were getting through with a bit of regularity towards the end though, I’ll give him that.

Right, I’m off to sleep. Btw I’ve had better nights out rowing the boat than what I got with the DAZN app tonight. Froze a few times and had to close it down and open it back up again. Very disappointing.

Just pisses me off man he has such a ****ing size advantage and not once did he try to impose himself. Lean on him. Rough him up. Break the rules just ****ing do something. Just gave his belts up with a whimper. Absolutely terrified of getting stopped. Look I know Canelo takes the **** sometimes with his demands but he didn’t even ask for a rehydration clause in this fight. He didn’t win a round. It’s just annoying watching that ****,

Canelo literally did not get out of first gear.
