I think the main problem here is Oscar. He is so jealous of what Floyd was able to do with ppv that he thinks he can negotiate for Canelo the same way with all that a-side, b-side nonsense. Floyd had the whole hip-hop crowd in his pocket and they didn't really care who he was fighting, they would buy just for the event, Canelo's fans are probably more hard core and they expect blood and guts, and good fights. They could not have been pleased with the way the GGG negotiations have gone.

In a sane world the A side would give the B side his biggest payday and highest accolade so the B side would compromise a little something for a shot at the biggest prize that he can supposedly KO as easily as his previous opponents (easy fight) according to his followers, even if the A side was making 10Xs more.
