Sure his walking around weight is about that. But not his fighting weight. He isn’t knocking out Canelo. He’s not that hard of a puncher, and like I noted, no one has better whiskers than Ginger boy.

Really? Are we seriously suggesting that the version of Haye that fought Bellew was remotely in prime fighting condition? He’d been retired, and had tendons as brittle as a 90 year olds.

Might as well drag Lennox out of retirement while we’re at it, to show the world what a fraud he really is.

Anyhow, Crawford ain’t knocking out Canelo. His only chance of victory is via points.

And Canelo is not in his prime for the last couple of fights and everyone can see it.

Yep, he’s definitely not prime, but he’s still elite. Haye was retired, embarrassingly slow, and his body betrayed him before our very eyes. It really isn’t comparable. We’re talking about a guy that’s currently undisputed, and you’re comparing him to Haye 2.0. Hell, Haye 1.0 couldn’t lace this version of Canelo’s gloves.

Not comparing like that, I'm just giving an example, that if some big puncher could not KO one guy, does not mean, someone else can't. Styles makes fights and Bud can tire Canelo and than KO him. It just sometime I believe, like I was saying that Usyk would beat AJ and 90% were just laughting.

To be fair Canelo did look pretty good against Munguia although he's clearly not world level. Canelo hasnt looked elite though since BJS/Plant. Bivol was the start of the end imho.

I agree with the principle, but not the example. For me, it comes down to this; Canelo has incredible punch resistance, and has fought bigger punchers than Crawford, that operate at a high level. While it’s certainly possible that Canelo loses, I simply cannot see how Crawford beats him, other than fighting an incredibly cautious and evasive fight.

This isn’t a slight on Crawford, as I think Crawford would struggle against a good few 168lbs fighters. It’s a big jump to make. At 147 he’s not a small man. But at 168…

I’m convinced that Turki is a casual. He tries to make matches like Canelo vs Bud and Tank vs Inoue, I don’t think he really gets how weight classes or size differences work and just sorta imagines how two big names he’s heard of would do against each other. He seems to mostly know HWs too and doesn’t seem focused on the lower weight which is a clear mark of the casual imo. Anyway, I think it’s very brave of Crawford of to accept two back-to-back KO losses to Canelo and Madrimov

I hope Crawford is not looking past Madrimov.

Bud will beat Madrimov and will look like the bigger stronger guy doing it. Then Canelo will duck. But maybe then, he'll fight Benevidez :p

I will only believe it when they're both in the ring. No way in hell Crawford takes this.

Gamboa rocked Bud pretty hard and had him buzzed.

Bud can outbox Canelo but once Canelo lands a solid shot followed by an uppercut Bud wakes up in the locker room but with Millions!!!!

I don’t think Bud could drop Plant much less Big Red. I like Bud but he going face first into a saw blade
