I'll be honest I love watching wilder fights he comes to beat you up. I know the opponent sucks but it is what it is
Does he? If memory serves he comes to mostly pot shot with the money punch rear power hand down the pipe from a safe distance until he simply wears you down or hits the sweet-spot as you're coming in. He's basically the heavyweight Adonis Stevenson.
I am skeptical of the weight...actually scratch that skeptical of all things Jr Having said that I will laugh my ass off if he shows up in shape and ready to go
That's an ODD thing to say. That's what we're all hoping happens. Strange, strange thinking from some of you. Some of us like competitive fights you know. I know there are some fans here who like to see Power punchers against overmatched opponents, not my cup of tea.
Not sure how its a Cherry pick. If Ward moved up to HW and fought someone like Charles Martin, would that be a Cherry pick? Of course not. If GGG moved up to LHW and fought a fighter like Pascal, would that be a cherry pick? We don't even know how Canelo will do at MW, let alone SMW.
How about things like Junior trains in his living room and walks around in pink underwear and eats Cheerios
Chavez will be to drained to have any effect on Canelo... sorry to say but easy work for the talented Canelo... Canelo is in a class of his own above Chavez... UD Canelo
Bands do this all the time. They love music. These yellow girls don't love boxing and they don't represent the Mexican sprit. They love the dollars and if they could squeeze the last dollar out of boxing knowing it would die they wouldn't hesitate. Non-existent testing and dodgy diuretics to get them under weight so they can then use another "supplement" to give them 10 pounds of weight advantage on fight night. Plodding boxers with multiple gift decisions in their careers. This is not a great fight for boxing.
Chavez can't win a decision, the judges, referee, boxing commission are all owned by Oscar.......................although Chavez might hurt El Pollo, knock some feathers off him.............
I'm surprised the weight isn't being talked about more, Canelo and Oscar insisted for a long time he wasn't a middleweight, vacated the WBC title at 160 and moved back down to 154 and now this? If Canelo had a few fights between the claim he wasn't a middleweight then maybe it could be excused but to vacate, dip to 154 for one fight and straight up to 164.5. It's all a little off.
I'm glad it forces GGG to rethink that 15 milion offer. And since GGG tried to do this to Ward by offering Ward 164 and Chavez 168 and Zurto 168. I'm glad Cinnamon was able to put him in his place it will do better than GGG vs Jacobs
