These are fights that could be a real test for Canelo. However we have to see how they perform in their next/upcoming fights whether or not they could bolster the resume of Canelo and increase his stock depending on how they perform if they do fight him.

Clottey- Already had a fight at 154 and IMO he fought a bum. This fight is a make em or break em fight. If Clottey does show up, he could be a real test and increase Canelo's stock. If however he decides to once again fight at a low workrate, 2 things can possibly come into mind. 1) He is not a 154 lb fighter and 2) Canelo's power and workrate prevented him from opening up. Canelo's fans however would obviously pick number 2 and IMO would not do well for his stock.

Margarito- A come forward fighter. IMO, Canelo would win this matchup with ease. People would also say that he is done after the Pac fight and he could be damaged further after the Cotto fight.

Cotto- If he manages to beat Margarito without getting hurt or damaged, then he stands to be the toughest test to Canelo. His fundamental skillset could give Canelo a tough time. IMO a 50-50 fight.

Of course, these fights could happen if Arum does decide to man up.

These three fighters are all on the decline IMO. They peaked around 2005-2008. I'd favor Canelo over all of them simply for the fact that he is younger and fresher.

    Clottey SD over Canelo
    Margarito UD over Canelo
    Cotto UD over Canelo

It is hard. I just cannot see these guys not outclassing him. He is only 21 you know?

Canelo beats the crap out of Clottey and Margarito. Clottey doesnt punch enough and Margarito is a punching bag that is gonna retire on saturday after Cotto busts that eye up!!

Now I would take Cotto to beat Canelo. Very Very close fight but Cotto is seasoned enough to break down Canelo. body shots would take the youngster down.

The Irish Mexican is not ready for that level of fighters, even if some say they are on the downhill side of their careers.

Margo breaks him down Cotto style, I dont think Saul is experienced enough to handle that sort of pressure for 12 rounds.

Cotto out boxes him, possibly stops him.

Clottey makes it a close fight win or lose.
